Kelsey Yuhara
Kelsey Yuhara is a multi-disciplinary artist working in immersive and site-responsive performance, theatre and improvisation who holds a BA in Theatre from Whitman College and an MA in Site-Specific Performance from Mountview. In 2013 her improv journey began when she founded The Clap, Istanbul’s English language improv team, and began hosting improv jams. After moving to London in 2019, she quickly found a new improv home with Comediasians, performing alongside and championing emerging pan-Asian talent in comedy and improvisation. She later joined Acaprov (2022) and CSI (2023). Her course, Mesiner into Improv, has reached international students online and drama students in the UK and in 2023 she has returned to regularly hosting bi-monthly jams at The Green in Shoreditch (London).
