Danielle Downey
Danielle started in musicals at a young age, appearing in the original cast of ‘Chitty Chitty Bang Bang’ (London Palladium) and The UK Tour of ‘Annie’. Whilst attending the Sylvia Young Theatre School she worked on film, TV and radio. Danielle has done voice overs for adverts such as Kellogg’s, McDonald’s and Cookie Crisp cereal. Singing has always been a passion for Danielle and she has sung at The Royal Albert Hall, The Natural History Museum and The Royal Opera House‘(Dialogue des Carmelites’ Opera 2014).
When not performing, Danielle enjoys making short animated films, several of which have been featured at exhibitions (The National Trust) and screened at film festivals (Annual Horror film Festival Vancouver).
Danielle’s sketch show ‘The Jerry Hall Show’, developed at the Soho Theatre with fellow CSI member Kayleigh debuted in 2018 at Brighton Fringe Festival.
